Blog se Niches are widely searched and demanding terms for bloggers, new starters, entrepreneurs and home business starters.
You might have got a feeling to just run away from your job and you have had that demoralizing job future in mind, it happens sometime – not because you don’t want to work hard or you are lazy!
It just happens because you don’t love your job – Blogging is my job, I just love it. I do it regularly, and I’m getting better and better.
So I thought to give you a brief Niche related guideline. Because Niche is like a seed, if you harvest the right one and correctly then you are going to get sometime positive and useful out of it.
Make sure you understand your niche and you have clear idea about your target market. Niche is certainly directly related to your target market and potential of turn out – I write so much about Niche selection,
because I don’t want your hard work and struggle get wasted just because of few unusual and unintentional decisions.
MODERN NICHE SELECTION PHILOSOPHY
It’s totally changed. We are fast now, everything is running – It’s not like 2005-06, when you have huge potential in hand, and whatever you dig in using internet,
You Get something Great – No doubt internet usage has drastically increased and we have lot more potential customers in the global market to capture, when market is getting bigger, so is competition!
I think the time has passed when you can think inside the circle like Technology could have been the niche to cover any specific sub-niche or to cover all the sub-niches related to Tech under the Technology label.
Today we have Electronics, Home appliances, Smartphones, Apps and Phones and a lot more to select as a niche under technology – So I don’t feel so comfortable to name every
sub-niche of Technology as just Technology, I would rather name Smartphones than just Technology, if I have to make a blog on Smartphones.
Be smart, think broad and get specific!
Market is getting wider – just accept it and design your niche selection philosophy according the social acceptability of the audience.
A niche attracts you which has a big following on the search engines and people do a lot of search on those products/services and you think to enter into that niche – hold on, think about the people who have already entered into that common niche.
Don’t risk your hard work and struggle by entering into a common and simple niche – I promise people would be there for years and they have dominating position at this time which will become a nightmare for new starters to compete them in actual.

HOW TO SELECT YOUR BLOG’S NICHE?
Niche selection is the decision that will count in your whole blogging career – A wrong or hesitant decision at this stage will cost you in the future.
Think calmly about your niche. Make sure that you select the best niche that suits your personality, choice and it must has a clear and effective target to reach, so that you blog for a reason, if you select a niche that has a good amount of audience and having a serious buyers then you won’t be failed.
Blogging is nothing without business and monetization approach. Obviously blog’s success comes with money and trust making with the customers who follow you and read your blog.
Keep your interest and market value of your niche in mind, don’t choose the niche which has a certain or limited audience and even don’t go for a niche with huge audience because huge and well developed Niches like ‘Technology, Mobile Phones, Desktop Computers etc,
such niches have people in the market for decades, and it would be tough for you to enter and make a difference.
On the other hand, if you choose a niche related to Interior and Home decoration, that would be more appropriate,
and even if you go more specific then you will get more specific traffic like If you focus on the niche like ‘Home Decoration Product Sellers in London’ then you need to target each and every thing related to home decoration in London – You might need to focus e-stores that sell products in England,
Trends, Home decoration products in London – Don’t worry about the details, when you enter into a specific niche of your choice, you always need to dig the mud and find resources to blog about for your audience.

Gardening is a different niche to cover but still this niche has potential. I feel gardening might be more towards female audience and I have seen most of the women are curious about buying plants for gardening. You can certainly pick Gardening as your niche.

You might live without entertainment and buying stuff for months but women out there can’t live about shopping and beauty stuff purchasing. Make up kits, Make-up material, fairness creams, facial products and a lot of beauty and care products are regular items for most of the women to buy.

If you have such kind of exposure through education or profession, then you should go for this niche, otherwise try to get involved, or even try to do some coaching or training course related to parenting and then work in this niche.

Babysitter is a new concept in blogging. I thought it would be more interested for young women and girls, who are looking for babysitting jobs. If you are in babysitting field and do a lot of regular babysitting part time jobs, then you should start your babysitting related blog. Try to help out other males and females about babysitting. Its a new and different niche to blog.

Photography is probably my favorite niche in this blog niches list. A lot of pro-bloggers moved and joined Photography niche after getting success with their initial blogs. Darren Rowse of Problogger.net is the example of this case.
It’s not an easy niche to get in and make a successful blog. But still you need a new and innovative concept to start a photography blog. This is the niche which doesn’t become the choice of an average blogger. You need to be a photography specialist or enthusiast to launch your photography related blog.
For Affiliate Marketing aspect, you must find out some stock selling sites to get their Affiliate Marketing programs to sell on your photography blog.
